Meet the Pet Nanny Sarah Team

In 2018 I left my 8-5 job and began working as a full time pet sitter and dog walker. Focusing on providing the care that I would want for my own pets to my client's, I found my calling! I wanted to go above and beyond in providing pet care, so I began taking courses and online training in pet care, attending pet CPR and first aid courses and absorbing everything I could from other professionals from around the world! I am very proud of the business that I have created and am so blessed to do what I love every day! 

I have a passion for animals in both my professional and personal life. As a child, we always had an assortment of animals. Of course I have always had the usual cats and dog, but I did not stop there. I had an array of pets from chinchillas, hamsters and gerbils, to frogs, toads, turtles and snakes- yes I even love snakes! Even as a child I would go to the library to learn about a new pet I was considering getting to know how to properly care for them. 

Around 10 years of age I started my very first dog walking business. I should have known then that I had a calling. 

Jump ahead to today, I now work with animals all day 7 days a week as a pet sitter and dog walker, but even that is not enough for me! When I am not working, I am volunteering for animal rescue as the Louisiana Coordinator for Safe With Us Animal Rescue. Breaking pets out of local shelters and rescuing abandoned pets, getting them into a foster home, get them healthy and vetted and ready for their new homes! 

I truly love what I do every day- I always say that a "stressful" day for me, is when my schedule is too full that I cannot fit any more pets in my schedule and have to miss seeing their faces! And for that being my biggest stress, I am immensely blessed!
